mounting plates

Added mounting plates under the curved tube bases to bolt down to the floor.

Bending the stems

bases are finished and the plant stems are now being rolled and bent into sleek curves.

Stainless steel arc sections will be welded to make the two bases that the tall stems grow out of.

seed pod edge detail

The real dried money plant has a dark edge around the circumference of the seed pod.

shiny hammer finish

As the stainless is hammered and formed, the marks are polished to a shiny finish. The curved face creates a wide angle reflection.

Money discs

Stainless steel discs are cut out and hammered to form a dish. Two halves are welded together to create the lozenge shape for the money plant sculpture
